Summary:
Responsible for capturing cost and maintaining accurate records of financial expenditure for vessels dealt with by DD Project Team.
Responsibilities:
· Implement procedures and guidelines as described in Company Quality manuals and other instructions as issued by management.
· Plan and maintain systematic method to gather committed and actual cost information for spares, stores and services for vessels in Project, allocate and record the data.
· Record history of each order, from placement through supply to final payment.
· Prepare reports based on the data for Management and Principal.
· Respond to queries raised by Management and Principal.
· Provide detailed information to Cost Controller to assist in preparing and updating budget estimates for Management.
· Extra work will require Principle’s approval, record of requests and responses to be maintained.
· Identify areas for improvements in systems and advise Project Manager
· Understudy Cost Controller
· Work with members of the Project team to provide seamless information transfer.
· Support on site dock team as required
· Liaise with Project Manager to ensure work is coordinated to best effect
Position 2: Purchasing Exec role
Summary:
Ensure timely, cost efficient supply to vessels managed by the company.
Responsibilities
· Responsible for all aspects of procurement of spares and stores (office arranged) for designated vessels.
· Constantly look for ways to improve cost effective supply.
· Upon receipt of requisition, obtain quotations/approvals and process as laid down by company procedures
· Advise vessels on the status of each requisition and the delivery status
· Monitor the vessel’s schedule on a daily basis to determine the most cost-effective means of supply. Taking urgency and location into account.
· Once delivery is completed, confirm with vessel orders were received. Follow up on discrepancies, with the respective suppliers until right items are re-supplied.
· Process invoices promptly, especially those that have early payment discount and suppliers under TBW Alliance agreements.
· Actively participate in the development of the quality management system and engage in the process for the continuous improvement of departmental procedures
Position 3: Accounts (Cash Management / Office Accounts) Asst Manager:
Summary:
· Oversee the functioning of Cash Management and office accounts
· Supervise the Cash Management and office accounts team in their daily duties
· Review journal entries prepared by the team members
· Prepare monthly schedules for major profit/loss and balance sheet items for office accounts
· Handle all Approved International Shipping (“AIS”) related matters
· Handle all GST and VAT matters
· Responsible for all financial aspects of Singapore, India and Beijing offices
· Oversee all financial aspects of JVs e.g. PCL
· Assist to liaise with auditors, bankers, IRAS and secretarial agents on respective matters
· Provide support to overseas offices on cash management functions
· Co-lead project team in preparing audited financial statements for single purpose companies
Ideal Candidate:
· Degree in Accountancy
· At least four years of related working experience, preferably with two years experience in Big audit firms.
· Supervisory experience will be advantageous
· Candidate with experience in cash management role is a plus
· Good communication skills and strong desire to learn
Position 4 : Assistant Officer / Officer, Human Resource
The Job
- Handle payroll using Easypay software
- Assist in recruitment process
- Administer Training Activities and liaising with Training Providers and update of training records
- Assist in handling general administration duties
Requirements
- Diploma in HRM / Business Management
- Proficiency in Microsoft office application
- Minimum 2 years’ HR experience
- Familiar with Singapore Labour Law
